Aboh Mbaise Executive Chairman Coordinates Successful Pre-iri Ji Festival Stakeholders’ Meeting

Ahead of the 2026 Iri Ji Mbaise Cultural Festival, a crucial and highly successful stakeholders’ meeting was held at the local government headquarters in Aboh Mbaise.
The meeting was coordinated by the Executive Chairman of Aboh Mbaise, Barr. Iheukwumere Alaribe. In attendance were key custodians of Mbaise tradition and community leadership, including the Chairman of the Mbaise Council of Traditional Rulers, HRH Eze Mike Orji; the President General of Ezurezu Mbaise, Surv. Joe Anosike; and members of Ndi Ezeji, led by Ezeji Nwagere.

The deliberations were conducted in a peaceful and constructive atmosphere. Several key administrative and cultural issues were successfully resolved during the session, with the formal resolutions set to be published to the public in due course.
It is worth recalling that Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area is the host for this year’s global Iri Ji Mbaise Cultural Festival, scheduled to take place on August 15, 2026, at Oke Ovoro Secondary School.

At the conclusion of the meeting, HRH Eze Mike Orji, Surv. Joe Anosike, and the leadership of Ndi Ezeji all commended the Executive Chairman, Barr. Iheukwumere Alaribe, for his exemplary leadership and for coordinating the interface in an exceptionally orderly and transparent manner.
